Statistics show that lapis lazuli was introduced into China from Afghanistan through the "Silk Road". It is usually produced in aggregate, with dense massive and granular structure. The colors are dark blue, purple blue, sky blue, green blue, etc. Lapis lazuli is also the main raw material of natural blue pigment.
Lapis lazuli is selected with uniform color, no crack, fine texture and no Venus, followed by no white gold spraying. Gold spraying refers to the uniform distribution of Venus. If the content of pyrite is low, there is no Venus on the surface, which will not affect the quality. However, if the color of Venus is black and dark, or too much calcite content forms a large area of white spots on the surface, the value will be greatly reduced.
